Over noodles from yesterday
Im attempting some kind of a talk
Not that it matters anyway
Its a lonely road you walk
Life size cut-out in the living room
Of a woman that should be cold
I think its safe for me to assume
That you need to be told
Not sure what Im doing here

Things were so much easier at school
This grown up world is tricky
Im holding out my hand

Tells me you should be dressed by now
You might feel slightly unable
But youll get back up somehow
Were it the other way around
I know youd sit in the dark with me
Until the courage could be found
To get on with plan B
